Product details
1、 Basic Introduction to Aseptic Room
A sterile room is usually a small room in a microbiology research institute. It can be composed of board and glass. The area should not be too large, about 4-5 square meters, and the height should be about 2.5 meters. There is a buffer room outside the sterile room, and the buffer door and sterile room door must not point in the same direction to prevent the airflow from carrying bacteria. Both the sterilization room and buffer room need to be closed. Indoor ventilation systems require air filters. The floor and walls of the sterile room should be flat, not prone to dirt accumulation, and easy to clean. The surface of the workbench must be horizontal. The sterilization room and buffer room are equipped with ultraviolet lamps, which are located 1 meter away from the working surface. Employees must wear disinfectant clothing and hats when entering the disinfection room. Currently, sterile rooms are mainly located in microbiology factories, while regular laboratories use ultra clean workbenches. The main function of the ultra clean workbench is to use air laminar flow equipment to remove all small dust, including microorganisms on the work surface. Electrical equipment allows air to enter the work surface after passing through a high-efficiency filter, so the work surface is always under the control of flowing sterile air. In addition, the high-speed air curtain is installed on the side closer to the outside to prevent bacteria from invading the external air. In more difficult places, wooden disinfection boxes can be used instead of ultra clean workbenches. The sterile box has a simple structure and is easy to move. The front of the box has two holes that can be closed with a small sliding door when not in use, and the arm can be extended during operation. The upper part of the front is made of glass for easy internal operation, and the box is equipped with ultraviolet lamps inside. The small door on the side allows tools and bacteria to enter. Aseptic operation technology not only plays an important role in microbial research and application, but is also widely used in many biotechnologies. For example, genetic modification technology, monoclonal antibody technology, etc.
2、 Difference between Hospital Bacterial Room and Aseptic Room
Cleanroom basis: An environment in which the concentration of suspended particles in the room is controlled by du, called a clean room. Depending on the concentration, the cleanliness of 10000, 1000, 100, etc. also varies.
Sterilization room: The clean room is mainly used to control the concentration of suspended particles, while the sterilization room is used to control biological bacteria at the same level as the clean room, except for colonies such as planktonic organisms and precipitated bacteria. The quantity that must be detected during testing.
Vaccination room: The name of the functional room. The vaccination process can be carried out in a clean room or sterile room.
Regarding the ultra clean workbench
In fact, it provides a sterile environment, based on the same principle as in a clean sterile room
Regarding sterility: The diameter of bacteria is usually 5 microns or larger, while the particle size of cleanroom air filters is 0.5 microns, which can achieve 99.99% efficiency. Clean rooms use efficient air filters because bacteria typically adhere to dust.
UV lamp: disinfect with ultraviolet light.
3、 What are the requirements for sterile room equipment and layout?
In terms of layout, cleanrooms should be placed together as much as possible, and the cleanrooms should be kept at the same level. Please place it in the room as much as possible. I don't know how many devices can be installed in the clean room, but personally, the reaction tank, crystallization tank, and centrifuge are all in the clean room, while the drying room is next to or across from the centrifuge.
4、 Conditions and requirements for sterile laboratory
A sterile laboratory is a small room used for aseptic operations in microbiology laboratories, with stricter indoor decoration and disinfection conditions.
1. The sterile valve chamber must be completely sealed and have two doors for personnel to enter and exit, with a buffer zone in between.
Before use, it should be disinfected with ultraviolet light for 30 minutes, and then regularly fumigated completely with lactic acid or formaldehyde.
3. Aseptic rooms are usually limited to inoculating sterile culture media and highly infectious bacteria, and do not isolate bacterial specimens or perform other operations.
4. The sterile room should be limited to operators only. When entering the sterile room, isolation suits and specialized shoes should be worn, and masks should be worn at all times during surgery to ensure the sterile room.
In laboratories with limited conditions, ultra clean workbenches can be used instead of sterile laboratories for corresponding operations. For ultra clean workbenches, vertical ventilation should be chosen.
6. The sterile room should be equipped with air conditioning to ensure that work is not affected by room temperature.
