Antimicrobial agents for reverse osmosis membranes
Product details

1、 MBC881, a non oxidizing antibacterial agent, is used for this reverse osmosis membrane

MBC881, a fungicide used in reverse osmosis membranes, has the advantages of broad-spectrum (able to inhibit edematous bacteria, fungi, algae, including microorganisms under the mucous membrane), high efficiency (with a dosage concentration of 6ppm, which may effectively inhibit the growth of bacteria and algae), low toxicity, and environmental safety. It is an ideal bactericidal principle because its molecules contain nitrogen sulfur bonds, which can quickly inhibit the growth of microorganisms by breaking the bonds between bacteria and algae proteins. This inhibition process is irreversible, leading to the death of microbial cells. MBC881, a fungicide used for reverse osmosis membranes, can also penetrate biological mucus membranes adhered to equipment, pipelines, and water tank surfaces, inhibiting and killing submucosal microorganisms. Compliant with international and Chinese Ministry of Construction standards for the use of reverse osmosis membranes. Suitable for reverse osmosis membranes and ultrafiltration membranes.

3、 Usage method

There are two ways to use MBC881 as a special disinfectant for reverse osmosis membranes.

Continuous addition: As a bacterial and algal inhibitor during the operation of reverse osmosis systems, it can greatly reduce the growth rate of bacteria on the membrane surface. Prevent the proliferation of system bacteria and algae. The specific dosage of MBC881 disinfectant for reverse osmosis membrane depends on different water quality and operating conditions. When adding, it should be continuously added. The bacteria and algae in the raw water can be minimized, with a general killing rate of over 99%. Dosing method: Place the daily required medication in the dosing tank, dilute it ten times with water, and evenly add it with a dosing pump.

Impact dosing: Due to the small amount of surviving bacteria, algae, and microbial salts being trapped on the surface of the reverse osmosis membrane, these bacteria and algae will reproduce and grow over a certain period of time. Therefore, regular impact dosing is necessary to remove the bacteria and algae on the membrane surface in a timely manner. Inject every week or two to concentrate on killing bacteria and algae in the system. The dosage for impact dosing is generally around 100ppm. The dosing method is to reduce the reverse osmosis pressure to below 0.3Mpa, and the dosage should be completed within 2-4 hours.

The above two methods should be used simultaneously during the operation of the reverse osmosis membrane system to fundamentally solve the problem of bacteria and algae in the system. The specific method and amount of addition need to be determined according to the situation of different reverse osmosis systems.
