Air compressor radiator, also known as cooler, is an important component on screw air compressor. If it is blocked, the temperature of the air compressor oil will continue to rise, causing a high-temperature trip fault. The main reasons for blockage of air compressor radiators are:

Surface dust blockage
This kind of blockage is relatively easy to handle. When the air compressor is running, hold an air gun and blow it down from the radiator along the gap between the fins. With the force of the air compressor exhaust fan blowing outward, this floating layer can be removed, causing the oil temperature of the air compressor to decrease.
Surface oil pollution blockage
If the oil cooler of the air compressor is not cleaned for a long time, and some of the compressor heads are leaking oil, it is easy for dust and oil to mix and stick to the fins of the radiator. Or like factories in the textile industry, fine yarn fragments float in the air and stick to the oil cooler. If the blockage is caused by these two situations, then the radiator should be removed and rinsed clean with a high-pressure water gun to eliminate the high temperature fault.
Internal carbon buildup blockage
If the lubricating oil quality of the air compressor is not high, or if it operates at high temperatures for a long time, carbon deposits will form inside the radiator over time. Reduce the amount of lubricating oil inside the flow path radiator, resulting in poor heat dissipation effect. In this case, the oil cooler needs to be removed and soaked with chemical agents such as carbon cleaning agents to soften and remove the carbon deposits inside the oil cooler. Only by restoring the internal oil circuit to be unobstructed can the blockage of the air compressor radiator be solved.
