Handheld instrument, the probe should not come into contact with the object being measured. Press the power switch ON/OFF, and the number displayed on the LCD screen should be within 00.0 ± 0.5. After stacking the thickness of the fabric, leather, yarn and other measured objects to 50mm or more, place them on a table or ground, hold the lower part of the instrument, gently press the probe on the surface of the measured object to ensure good contact between the measured object and the probe. After the value stabilizes, the displayed number is the moisture value of the measured object. Due to the significant interference of metallic or magnetic substances, as well as conductive semiconductors, on electromagnetic waves, which affects the stability and accuracy of data, the bottom and surrounding areas of the measured object should not contain metallic materials.

1. When measuring, hold the lower half of the instrument and keep the body of the instrument parallel to the object being measured. Gently press the three sensing probes of the instrument onto the surface of the object being measured.
2. The moisture meter is a contact type measuring instrument, and the prerequisite for measurement is that the three sensing probes of the instrument must be in full contact with the measured object.
3. When there is no display or the zero value cannot be adjusted within ± 00.5, and the display number jumps, the battery should be replaced at this time. If zero adjustment still cannot be performed after replacing the battery, please open the battery back cover, find the tail zero adjustment knob, and use a flat screwdriver to adjust the potentiometer in the hole to make the instrument zero position within 00.5.
4. Due to the strong penetrability of high-frequency waves, the presence of metal around the measured object can lead to inaccurate measurements. Therefore, during measurement, there should be no metal or other sensing objects around the instrument probe.
5. If the instrument is not used for a long time, the battery should be removed to prevent damage to the instrument caused by battery leakage.
