Product Introduction
ADM-4240-C is a 4-channel 0~20mA/4-20mA/0-10V analog signal data acquisition module, which can be widely used for signal acquisition and monitoring of industrial field equipment. When "C" is I20, it represents an analog input of 0~20mA/4-20mA current. When "C" is V10, it represents an analog input voltage of 0-10V. The analog signal adopts a single ended input method, and the communication interface adopts RS-485 interface (RS-232 interface can be customized). It supports the standard MODBUS-RTU protocol and can be directly connected to configuration software, PLC, DCS industrial control touch screen.
ADM-4240S-C adds an OLED display screen to the ADM-4240-C function, which can simultaneously display the values of 4 analog inputs and the current module's address, baud rate, data bits, parity bits, and other parameters.

Use default communication parameters
When the communication parameters of the module (module address, baud rate, parity) are forgotten, short-circuit the Initiat and GND pins and power on the module again. At this time, the communication parameters of the module are (9600, N, 8, 1) and the module address is 01.
When the Initiate and GND pins are disconnected, start the module and use the communication parameters set by the user for communication. The module parameters at the factory are (9600, N, 8, 1) and the module address is 01.
Module Register Address Description
1.30001~30004: Analog input register address (3x area), representing 0000H~0003H using the 04 function code.
2.40001~40004: Analog input register address (4x area), representing 0000H~0003H using the 03 function code.
3.40161~40164: Module parameter register address (4x area), for 00A0H~00A3H with 03 and 06 function codes.
