Purpose:

The 3DJ series metering pump is a new type of metering pump developed and designed by our company based on the practical needs of the J series metering pump. Its flow range is (1.0~17800) L/h, suitable for conveying media without solid particles at temperatures of -30~450 ℃ and viscosities of 0.3~800 square millimeters per second. Compared with the J series metering pump, it has the advantages of small pulse, high pressure resistance, stable pressure, small volume, light weight, low power consumption, long service life, and easy operation and maintenance. It is particularly suitable for conveying various media under high pressure conditions (such as plastic machinery with foaming agent, scientific research ratio, etc.), and is an ideal product for simplifying the process flow. The product is widely used in plastic machinery, oil fields, chemical industry, fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, food, national defense, and research institutes.

Model Description
Working structure principle

3DJ series metering pump, also known as three plunger metering pump. The pump adopts the principle of crankshaft connecting rod mechanism, which is driven by an electric motor through a reduction mechanism to rotate the crankshaft and push the connecting rod through a slider (crosshead) to make the plunger perform linear reciprocating motion. Under the opening and closing action of the valve, it achieves the purpose of suction and discharge of liquid. Due to the fact that within one rotation of the crankshaft, each of the three plungers sucks and discharges liquid once, the suction and discharge frequency is increased compared to traditional single plunger and double plunger metering pumps, so the pulse is very small and the pressure is stable.

The flow regulation of the 3DJ series metering pump is achieved by reducing or increasing the pump speed through a continuously variable transmission, frequency converter, or speed regulating motor. After being equipped with electronic control devices, remote operation or automation control can also be achieved. Adding a jacket to the pump head can achieve the purpose of insulation and heating.
Selection and Usage Guidelines for J Series Metering Pumps
1、 Measurement accuracy and flow calibration:

According to the GB/T7782-1996 standard for metering pumps, the flow measurement accuracy of the pump at rated conditions and relative stroke should not be less than ± 1%. The ideal range of use for pumps when conveying general media is 40% to 100% for plunger metering pumps and 60% to 100% for diaphragm metering pumps. When the required range of use for the process flow is ≥ 10%, an AC frequency converter can be added to reduce the speed and expand the range of use.
2、 Installation height of metering pump:

For conveying normal temperature media with physical properties similar to clean water, the installation height of the plunger pump center above the liquid level should be less than 2 meters, and the diaphragm pump should be less than 1 meter. When the pump cylinder chamber is filled with liquid medium, the suction performance of the pump can be improved. The installation height of the plunger pump is 4-5 meters, and the diaphragm pump is 2-3 meters.
3、 Precautions for installation of metering pump pipeline system:

1. The inner diameter of the inlet and outlet pipes should not be less than the inner diameter of the pump suction and discharge. Try to shorten the length of the pipeline and reduce resistance components such as bends and valves. It is not allowed to have an upward curved "Ω" shape arrangement to avoid gas accumulation.
