Common faults of 315 ton hydraulic press:

During the operation of the metal extrusion hydraulic press, sometimes bolts may fall off and fall into the hydraulic cylinder, causing serious scratches on the plunger wall. After the problem arises, traditional methods cannot achieve on-site repair at all, and can only be disassembled and transported to the manufacturer for welding repair or scrap replacement. Due to the lack of spare parts replacement, the time for re producing parts or returning to the factory for repair cannot be controlled, resulting in serious economic losses for the enterprise due to prolonged downtime, while also having to pay high processing or repair costs. In order to meet the requirements of continuous production in enterprises, it is necessary to find convenient, fast, and simple maintenance methods to solve the equipment problems, greatly reducing the downtime of enterprises and lowering maintenance costs. Operation steps:

1. Use an oxygen acetylene flame to bake the scratched area (control the temperature and avoid surface annealing), and bake out the oil that has been infiltrating the metal surface for years until there are no sparks splashing around.

2. Use an angle grinder to surface treat the scratched area, grinding to a depth of at least 1 millimeter, and creating grooves along the outer wall of the cylinder, preferably dovetail grooves. Drill deeper holes at both ends of the scratch to change the stress situation.

3. Use degreased cotton dipped in acetone or anhydrous ethanol to clean the surface.

4. Apply the evenly mixed repair material to the scratched surface; One layer should be thin, evenly and completely covering the scratched surface to ensure good adhesion between the material and the metal surface. Then, apply the material to the entire repair area and press it repeatedly to ensure that the material is filled and reaches the required thickness, making it slightly higher than the outer wall surface of the cylinder.

5. It takes 24 hours for the material to fully achieve all its properties at 24 ℃. To save time, the temperature can be increased using a tungsten halogen lamp. For every 11 ℃ increase in temperature, the curing time will be reduced by half. The appropriate curing temperature is 70 ℃.

6. After the material is cured, use a fine grinding stone or scraper to repair and level the material above the outer wall surface of the cylinder, and the construction is completed.
