2XZ type direct coupled rotary vane vacuum pump product overview:
The 2XZ rotary vane vacuum pump is a two-stage high-speed direct connection structure rotary vane vacuum pump (hereinafter referred to as the pump). It has a rotor eccentrically installed in the pump chamber and rotor blades in the rotor slot. When the rotor drives rotation, the rotor tightly adheres to the chamber wall, separating the intake and exhaust ports, and periodically expanding the volume of the intake chamber to suck in air, while periodically reducing the volume of the exhaust chamber to compress gas, pushing open the exhaust valve to exhaust, thereby obtaining vacuum.
The 2XZ pump is equipped with a pneumatic valve, which has the function of prolonging the use time of pump oil and preventing pump oil from mixing with water.

Malfunctions and troubleshooting
If the rotary vane vacuum pump is operated improperly, it often malfunctions, such as a decrease in vacuum degree, oil spraying, smoking, oil leakage at the oil seal, noise, and emulsification of vacuum pump oil inside the pump. In case of such a situation, there is no need to panic first. After the machine is shut down, troubleshoot each problem one by one. Here are several methods for troubleshooting.

1、 Smoke and oil spray from rotary vane vacuum pump: Refers to smoke or oil spray from the exhaust port of the rotary vane vacuum pump during operation.
1. Smoking, if the pump has just started running and there is smoke, it is normal. If it continues to smoke for a long time, it is abnormal. Solution: Smoking indicates that there are repairs to the outside of the pump's intake port, including pipes, valves, and containers. After leak detection, the smoke will end. Vortex flowmeter
2. Injecting fuel indicates that there are a large number of leakage points outside the intake port, and even the intake port is exposed to the atmosphere. Solution: Seal the inlet of the pump to allow it to operate. If there is no oil injection, it indicates a leak point; The exhaust valve plate is damaged. Check if the exhaust valve plate is damaged and replace the damaged one.

2、 Rotary vane vacuum pump noise: This refers to the noise of the pump.
1. Knocking the cylinder, the pump makes irregular noises during operation, similar to the sound of metal hitting metal. This is the sound made by the rotor hitting the pump body. This situation is mainly caused by the failure of the spring between the paired rotary blades due to breakage, contraction, or ejection. Solution: Open the pump and check if the rotary spring is damaged. Replace the spring with a new one.
2. The noise of the exhaust valve plate is mainly caused by the damage of the pump's exhaust valve plate. Solution: Replace the exhaust valve plate.

3、 Decreased vacuum degree of rotary vane vacuum pump: refers to the current measured vacuum degree of the rotary vane vacuum pump being lower than the factory specifications or the vacuum degree used before. There are many reasons for low vacuum degree, and here are several main situations.
1. The brand of rotary vane vacuum pump oil added this time is different from the original one. Different grades of vacuum pump oil have different results due to varying saturated vapor pressures within the oil. Solution: Replace the correct new vacuum pump oil according to the product model specifications.
2. In addition, it is also due to the low vacuum degree caused by the vacuum pump oil, that is, the emulsification and discoloration of the vacuum pump oil, or it is too dirty. Solution: Drain all vacuum pump oil from the pump, replace it with the same type of vacuum pump oil, and prevent water vapor and impurities from entering the pump in the pumped gas.
3. The temperature of the extracted gas may be too high. Solution: Reduce the temperature of the extracted gas or add a corresponding heat exchanger.
4. The oil circuit inside the pump is blocked or not smooth, and a certain amount of oil is not maintained in the pump chamber. Solution: Check if the oil circuit is unobstructed and add the same type of vacuum pump oil.
5. Increase the gap for cooperation. This is due to the long-term presence of dust and other substances in the extracted air, which causes an increase in the gap between the rotor and stator after wear. Solution: Check if the gap is too large and replace with new components.
