GX7300 series: 20 slots, 3U PXI chassis
|
![]() |
overviewThe GX7300 series main framework is a 20 slot PXI chassis that can accommodate up to 19 instruments, as well as PXI controllers (embedded CPUs or PXI bus extender interfaces such as MX interfaces). The 3U form factor provides a compact testing system package, making it convenient for flexible use of PXI and Compact PCI 3U modules. characteristicThe system power supply is 755W and can be used for GX7300, GX7310, GX7302, and GX7312 devices. The GX7305 and GX7315 devices have higher capacity and a system power supply of 1600W, which can provide 60W of power supply for each external slot in the system. This makes the chassis suitable for high-performance and high channel digital IO applications as well as high-performance mixed signal applications. The cooling system of GX7300, GX7310, GX7302, and GX7312 chassis is located below the card slot and consists of four 65CFM fans, as well as a separate fan to provide cooling for the system power supply. This cooling configuration, in conjunction with the air boost chamber inside the chassis, provides airflow for all module slots of each PXI specification, without the need for additional rack space for air inlet or outlet ports. The cooling system of GX7305 and GX7315 chassis is located below the card slot and consists of four 100CFM fans, as well as a separate fan to provide cooling for the system power supply. The GX7300 series chassis supports monitoring of slot temperature and system power supply voltage, and can program or map each PXI trigger line from one PCI segment to another. In addition, users can program the temperature monitoring function to implement specific warning and shutdown limits, as well as monitor and control fan speed. All user specific settings can be stored as user configurations in non-volatile memory and can be used as default settings for normal chassis operations. GX7302 and GX7312 provide an ideal solution for large-scale interconnection interfaces, supporting multiple devices (including Virginia Panel, Mac Panel, ITT Cannon). These chassis include integrated 2U cable trays, hinged interface components that can accommodate all popular mass interconnect devices, optional openings at the top and bottom of the rack for cable routing, and embedded PXI instruments (recessed 2.5 "or 4.5") that can provide up to 7 "interface. Additionally, GX7302 and GX7312 can be ordered with Mac Panel Scout receivers to provide wireless quality terminal interfaces. |
configurationSlot 1 is dedicated to system controllers (embedded or remote, using PXI bus extenders) and supports x1 or x4 PXI Express controllers. softwareThe chassis is equipped with GxChassis software, which includes software libraries, drivers, programming examples, virtual panel applications, and documentation. The virtual panel can control, configure, and display chassis configurations, including temperature control, trigger mapping, and power voltage monitoring. The 32/64 bit Windows DLL driver provides various interface files for programming tools (ATEasy, LabView, C/C++, Microsoft Visual Basic) ®, Delphi, etc.) to access DLL functions. The documentation provided by the User Guide includes installation, usage, and chassis programming instructions. The chassis also supports Linux systems and comes with a separate software package (GtLinux). application
