ASX series special operation functions
Continuous voltage self calibration function
This feature provides additional accuracy for AC output voltage. When turned on, the accuracy can reach ± 0.1% of the internal voltage meter of the power supply as a reference.
Programmable dynamic output impedance (optional)
This function enables the operator to dynamically control the output impedance of the AC power supply. By using the output current as the feedback signal in the output voltage circuit, both positive and negative impedances can be edited. This control simulates and compensates for high peak currents, distortions, or transformer losses within ± 10% of the output voltage.
This function generates positive, negative, or zero output impedance (Zo).- Compensated for line distortion and losses caused by transformers.
- Simulate power supply ramp up for product testing, with a compensation range of ± 10% of the output voltage.
Waveform library
Up to 22 different waveforms can be stored in the waveform library for replacement as part of a stable or transient program or as part of a transient test program in any output phase. The waveform library with storage location 1 is a high-resolution sine wave waveform that cannot be edited. The waveform library with storage locations 2-22 can be edited and replaced at will. For power supplies that use a programmable controller UPC, the waveform library can be stored infinitely in the computer.
Waveform EditingThe fully functional waveform editor allows modification of stored waveforms in both time and frequency domains. This method can quickly generate spikes, drops, notches, and other forms of waveforms. Therefore, the modified waveform can be used for steady-state or transient programs.
Waveform analysis (optional feature of UPC 1/3)
Provide harmonic content analysis of voltage or current waveforms and display it in graphical or numerical form. The data of each harmonic is displayed in percentage, and the total harmonic distortion, total odd harmonic distortion, and total even harmonic distortion are also displayed in percentage.
Waveform synthesis (optional function of UPC 1/3)
Provide simple and fast testing capabilities for AC harmonic distortion waveforms. This function can be easily achieved by inputting the distortion rate and phase angle of the 2nd to 51st harmonics of the fundamental wave.
Transient response based on time
Transient responses can be created and executed within the specified time range to change the output voltage, output frequency, and output waveform.
Transient response based on cycles
Create and execute transient responses within the first to 100th cycles to change the output voltage, output frequency, and output waveform.
