Design scheme for robot battery pack:
1) Protection board (PCM): It is mainly designed as a protection circuit for rechargeable high-capacity battery packs. Due to the chemical characteristics of lithium batteries, it needs to provide protection functions such as overcharging, overdischarging, short circuit, overcurrent, and overtemperature to avoid hazards such as combustion and explosion.
2) Protection IC: The main protection function chip of the design scheme, which monitors the overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, short circuit and other functions of the battery cell in real-time online. Enable the battery cells to operate within a safe, stable, and efficient range.
3) Overcurrent protection plate (PTC): mainly designed for secondary protection function. PTC recoverable temperature fuse has dual functions of overcurrent protection and automatic recovery. PTC in battery products can prevent high-temperature discharge and unsafe high current from occurring.
4) Field Effect Transistor (MOSFET): A MOSFET transistor that serves as a switch in protective circuits.
